I have a love for a good breakfast sandwich. One that doesn’t hold a lot of grease.
My son made Kolaches recently with sausage and cheese inside. I never had anything so good.
The bread is soft and sweet. He got the recipe here: http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/kolaches-sweet-and-savory-recipe
Let me tell you how I made them. I replaced the sour cream with plain yogurt and added about an extra 1/2 cup of flour. The dough is sticky, so don’t let that scare you. I also used pre-cooked brown and serve sausages, defrosted.

I cut them into slices and grated some cheddar cheese.
I followed the directions – but after the rolls rested I flattened them a wee bit more with the heal of my hand and then added the sausage and cheese.

After you ate way too many and when they have completely cooled, I wrapped them in bundles of 4 – 6 and froze them. As needed I popped them in the microwave just to warm them through. They are really good!!!!!!!
Enjoy!
