Sometimes life cries out for a nice break from the daily routine …… a pie break, so to speak. A time to sit, to listen, to reflect. To taste the sweetness of life.

This Autumn is so fresh and slightly crisp around The Burg. We get some color changes in the trees but really don’t have enough of those gorgeous Maple Trees that Vermont is famous for. But our trees still change and I love it.

Today is a true promise of Spring here in the Kansas City area. Warm, spring-like air and blue skies.
And I found Seagulls! That is very exciting for me, having come from the east coast and only saw them a couple of times over the last five years.

Finally we can go outside with just a hoodie and our wellies.
